This is a modified recipe from the book Brewing Classic Styles. The recipe is called Black Scapular Dubbel but I replaced some of the ingredients because i didn’t want to buy all of them, and I made my own candi syrup because I also didn’t want to buy it. So this will be a freestyle dubbel-inspired beer.
I decided to make this one because I had a bunch of pilsner malt that i didn’t know what to do with, so I just found some recipe.
This fake dubbel will probably be 7% ABV, amber colored with a malty, dried fruit flavor.
