Just carbonated apple juice…..
This is a modified recipe from the book Brewing Classic Styles. The recipe is called Black Scapular Dubbel but I replaced some of the ingredients because i didn’t want to buy all of them, and I made my own candi syrup because I also didn’t want to buy it. So this will be a freestyle dubbel-inspired beer. I decided to make this one because I had a bunch of pilsner malt that i didn’t know what to do with, so I just found some recipe. ...
Melomel is mead with berries or fruit. This will either be sweet strong mead or very strong mead. The berries are just a cheap berry mix from krónan. Mead usually takes a long time so don’t wait for this one. Only the best honey for my mead Berries and honey becoming friends :> 4 october This has been fermenting for over a week and is 70% of the way there. I have removed the berries and now the yeast just has to finish fermenting the mead. After that it will be filtered and allowed to sit for a few weeks until drinkable. ...
Vienna lager from brew.is. Darker lager, very malty. Low bitterness and 5% abv. Fermentation takes 17 days, and then it needs to lager for a few weeks so hopefully it will be ready early november. I wanted to try to make a “real” post so i decided to show how the beer is made. How do i brew it? I decided to be nice to my family and brew this one in the garage. They don’t like the smell of brewing as much as I do. ...
9 liter mead that has been taking way too long to ferment. If everything goes to plan it will be like 13%, i don’t wanna go check. Might mix some cherry juice and make cherry mead.
15 liters of a simple apple cider made with bónus apple juice. Estimated 5% abv. Will probably take a few weeks to be drinkable.
Light lager that i made up, lagering in an 8 liter keg. Ca 6.6% alcohol, 13.4 IBU (not bitter). Very mild, a bit malty. Expecting it to be ready about mid-october.
This is a recipe from brew.is. This was the first beer I brewed, and it ended up pretty weird. Now I’m going to make another attempt at it and see how it goes. I am also going to make my first try at a 20 liter batch, but it might get a little bit difficult as my kettle is only 15 liters.
I accidentally bought malt for 20 liters of this beer so i will make it again
